Can I return the item if I don't like it?

At edithdean, we strive to create beautiful, one of a kind pieces that our customers will love! Please keep in mind that our process and our mission entails giving new life to upcycled (secondhand) garments, and that we do our best to select only high-quality items, with minimal to no flaws, and correct any noticeable damage as part of our restoration process. 

Because our pieces are unisex, one of a kind and sizeless, we display the pieces on multiple body types and provide the measurements of each model. This is intended to help you visualize how the  garment will fit your frame.

All this considered, we appreciate your support and truly want you to love your piece!

So, if you receive your item and it doesn't hug your body just the way you like or if there is a major flaw, you may contact us to request a return. If your return is accepted (see below for eligibility requirements) we will send you a return shipping label and issue a collection credit that may be used on any future drop. You will also be offered early access to the next drop after the return is received. 

A Note on Quality

IMPORTANT: Edithdean pieces are made from carefully selected upcycled (secondhand) garments. We do our absolute best to select high-quality items in great condition. We also take steps to repair any minor flaws detected as part of our restoration process. 

That said, please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us within 7 days of receipt, if you believe the item was damaged in transit or is otherwise defective, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Return Eligibility 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received them, unworn and unused. You must also provide proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know whether or not the refund was approved. If approved, we will issue your collection credit within 10 business days.

The item I wanted sold out, will there be another one like it in the next collection?

The short answer is, we go where the spirit takes us. Since every piece is a one of a kind, there will never be an exact replica. That said, we endeavor to give the people what they want, so if there is an overwhelming demand for a certain design story, we may repeat the concept, in some fashion, in a future collection. No guarantees though!

Can I request a custom piece?

We do not offer custom pieces, at this time. It may be something we explore in the future, but for now we are enjoying the practice of creative expression and going where the spirit takes us. We appreciate your interest and your understanding, and we encourage you to sign up for our mailing list, for any new developments and offerings!

I love this piece! Can I get in another size?

We are so grateful for your interest and sorry for the inconvenience! Because every piece is a one of a kind, each one only comes in the one size. However, we source in a range of sizes, so please be on the lookout for one that you love just as much in the size you are looking for.
